CARES Act: The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security Act, also known as the CARES Act, is an aid package meant to keep businesses and individuals afloat during the 2020 coronavirus pandemic. For individuals, it means direct cash and unemployment benefits and small businesses are eligible for emergency grants as well as a forgivable loan program.
